My goodness.

Jessica Boatright is an absolute magician. We had a general idea of what we wanted to put together. After a few weeks of planning and a bit of DIY, we were able to see this idea come to life. By the end of the session, I was freaking out over the raw images on my tiny camera screen.

We handmade the entire head piece out of some fake flowers, a plastic headband, and lots of glue. It was a small labor of love that truly made the head piece the statement of our entire session.

AND THE MAKEUP.

The point of the Mexican sugar skull makeup is to be a reminder of joy and happiness of a loved one that’s passed away. These flowers, paired with the incredible makeup and curled hair, create just the look we wanted. Grace was the most perfect model for this creative shoot.
