maternity session in the Black Forest

This maternity session was one for the books. My first official time at the Black Forest was magical. It was the first little glimmer of spring, the weather was perfect, the skies were clear, Taylor + Emily were so excited–I couldn’t ask for a better session! We drove over to the Black Forest and just wandered around a smallllll little portion of the forest.

When I was figuring out the location for this maternity shoot, I asked Emily if she had any where in mind and the only request she had was the location have tallllllll trees. After some searching, I had it narrowed down to 4 different locations and Emily asked to have their session in the Black Forest. My first session in a part of Germany that I am genuinely obsessed with. The Black Forest is massive, beautiful, and truly breathtaking. I cannot wait for more sessions in the Black Forest.
